Resumen de El krausismo y la Institución Libre de Enseñanza en la filosofía de la educación de Ortega y Gasset: la vocación como prolegómeno para renovar la sociedad

El interés de Ortega por la educación de la sociedad está en la línea del movimiento krausista y el institucionismo, cuyos enfoques pedagógicos procuraban armonizar al individuo con el mundo moral e intelectualmente y trataban de poner en conocimiento al educando la diversidad de los saberes científicos.
Para ello, se atiende especialmente a la vocación, de la que se señala la valoración que hizo el krausismo y la Institución Libre de Enseñanza y la influencia que ejerció en la teoría vocacional orteguiana. Se remarca, en consecuencia, el desarrollo que la vocación implica en el individuo y la magnitud que alcanza a nivel social, a fin de evitar la degeneración de la sociedad.

Ortega’s interest in the education of society is in line with the krausist movement and institutionalism, whose pedagogical approaches sought to harmonize both morally and intellectually the individual with the world and tried to make known the diversity of the scientific knowledge. In order to do so, it is specially taked into account the vocation, underlining the valuation made by krausism and the Free Educational Institution and the influence it exerted in Ortega’s vocational theory. Therefore, it is remarked the development that the vocation implies in the individual and the magnitude that reaches in a social level, in order to avoid the degeneration of the society.
