Este artículo presenta una reflexión sobre las percepciones juveniles respecto el consumo de alcohol en nuestros tiempos, atendiendo a las diferencias de género que se producen en relación a esta temática. Pretende descifrar sus perspectivas y sus prácticas anclándolas en los actuales contextos de consumo. Analiza las expectativas de los jóvenes y de los adolescentes respecto al consumo de alcohol y las funcionalidades que les supone el consumo. Debate sobre su visión respecto a los riesgos y los daños para entender como configuran sus formas de afrontarlos y de experimentar con los límites. Analiza la evolución de los consumos de alcohol desde los años setenta para entender en que se fundamentan las percepciones juveniles y las de sus padres y adultos.
This article presents a reflection on youth perceptions regarding alcohol consumption in our time, considering the gender differences on the issue. It seeks to decipher their perspectives and practices in the consumption context. It analyzes the expectations of young people and adolescents regarding the alcohol consumption and the functions of consuming. It debates about his view regarding the risks and harms to understand how they shape their ways of dealing with them and experimenting with the limits. It analyzes the evolution of alcohol consumption since the seventies to understand on what are the youth perceptions based and the ones of their parents and adults.
