    This article tries to understand the (mis)directions of Political History and how the relations of power, culture, press and history developed during Brazilian civil-military regime, period (1964-1985) in which the political model exalted the achievements of dictatorial government to find legitimacy, while preventing the formation of critical citizens and censored opponents. Sustained by Political History, this paper aims to develop a research which allows raising the paths of political culture to understand the bases and resistance to civil-military regime established in 1964.

    Este artigo procura compreender os (des)caminhos da História Política e como se desenvolveram as relações de poder, cultura, imprensa e história no regime civil-militar brasileiro, período (1964-1985) em que o modelo político exaltava as realizações do governo ditatorial para buscar legitimidade, ao mesmo tempo em que impedia a formação crítica dos cidadãos e censurava os opositores. Amparado pela História Política, o trabalho visa a desenvolver uma investigação que possibilite levantar os caminhos da cultura política para compreender as bases de sustentação e as resistências ao regime civil-militar implantado em 1964.
