En este artículo se estudian a partir de la ley de partidos políticos de 1949 las ideas existentes durante el primer peronismo sobre los partidos políticos. Esta fue la primera legislación sancionada por el Congreso nacional argentino, y una de las primeras en el mundo, que buscó regular a los partidos. Nuestro objetivo será el de explicar a esta normativa en el contexto en el que fue producida. ¿Por qué el peronismo sancionó la ley de partidos políticos en 1949? Encontramos tres motivos: ordenar su propio partido, limitar la acción de los partidos opositores y trasladar a la Cámara de Diputados del Congreso Nacional la unanimidad que ya había logrado en otros ámbitos

This paper analyzes the Political Parties Act of 1949, in the attemp of understanding the ideas about the political parties that were held during the first two goverments of Juan Domingo Perón. This was the first legislation enacted by the Argentina National Congress, and one of the first in the world, that sought the regulation of political parties. Our goal is to explain this law in the context in which it was produced. Why did the peronist goverment passed a law on political parties in 1949? We can find three purpuses: to order its own party , to limit the action of the opposition parties and to transfer to the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress the unanimity that the peronist movement has already achiveved in other spheres
