    La convergencia de la consolidación de un nuevo estándar en la adquisición y transmisión del conocimiento, el paso de un mercado de demanda a otra de oferta, la consolidación de las NTIC en la producción, almacenamiento y distribución de los contenidos y el desplazamiento del consumidor de información en beneficio de la figura del prosumidor sienta las bases para un novedoso ecosistema de la información. El examen de proyectos como International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, ProPublica y Journalism++ permite comprender cómo el periodismo de investigación resulta proclive al establecimiento de iniciativas colaborativas, esencialmente por la concatenación de tres circunstancias estratégicas: generar un contenido que sería inviable sin la participación de un determinado número de autores, compartir los costes económicos optimizando el nivel de inversiones requeridas y conseguir los máximos niveles posibles de difusión entre la opinión pública.

    The convergence of the consolidation of a new standard in the acquisition and transfer of knowledge, the transition from one demand market to another supply market, the consolidation of NICT in the production, storage and distribution of contents and the movement from information consumer to information prosumer are providing the basis for a new information ecosystem. The analysis the projects like International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, ProPublica and Journalism++ possibilities to understand how investigative journalism is conducive to the establishment of collaborative initiatives, essentially by adding three strategic circumstances: generating a content that would not be feasible without the participation of a determinate number of authors, sharing the economic costs by optimizing the level of required investment and achieving the highest levels of diffusion among the public opinion.
