Resumen de Los Cruceros. Una extraordinaria experiencia que se vive en las Islas Galápagos de Ecuador

  El turismo es una importante actividad que, en los últimos tiempos, ha ido incrementándose paulatinamente en las Islas Galápagos. Su biodiversidad en flora y fauna endémicas es una de las principales razones que despierta el interés de la gran variedad de visitantes que llegan a este pequeño paraíso natural, ya sea por realizar actividades en tierra o en alta mar, como por ejemplo, vivir una maravillosa experiencia en un crucero.

  El tamaño de las embarcaciones, los servicios y las actividades que brindan los diferentes buques son aspectos que se deben considerar al seleccionar las opciones que se ofertan en el mercado, por tanto, en esta investigación se presenta la caracterización de las distintas categorías de cruceros que realizan itinerarios dentro de las islas y, específicamente, a través de un análisis comparativo entre dos reconocidos cruceros de lujo y dos de primera categoría, se evidencian los elementos diferenciadores de cada uno de ellos.

  El turismo de cruceros es una de las alternativas de viaje que a nivel mundial se ha ido desarrollando y actualmente es una buena opción de disfrute del tiempo de ocio. Vivir nuevas experiencias en las islas es el objetivo de los cruceros.

  The tourism is an important activity which in the latter days has been increasing gradually in the Galapagos Islands. Its endemic biodiversity in flora and fauna is one of the main reasons which captures the interest of the great variety of visitors who arrive to this little natural paradise to do land as well as in the deep sea activities, such as to live a wonderful experience in a cruise.

  The size of ships, the type of services and the different activities that offer the cruise ships are items that should be considered when the visitor selects options that are offered in the market, for these reasons in this investigation the categorization of different cruise categories are presented which have itineraries within the islands, and specifically a comparative analysis between two well-known cruise ships, and two first class ships reflected component differentiators in each one of them.

  The cruise tourism is one of the alternative ways of traveling at the world level which has been developing recently and nowadays is a good option to enjoy the leisure time. To live new experiences in The Galapagos Island is the main objective of cruise ships.
