Resumen de Semiosis en el entorno hipertextual

El tejido de la red de redes está formado por una compleja malla sígnica que reenvía, en un transcurso potencialmente ilimitado, un signo a otro signo. Un proceder que recuerda a la descripción de la semiosis, como la acción de los signos, del filósofo norteamericano Charles S.
Peirce. Incluso en los propios inicios teóricos del concepto de hipertexto se encuentran ya ecos peirceanos que podrán servir para entender un fenómeno tan actual como la Web y, en particular, su original lenguaje hipertextual. Un lenguaje que ha generado grandes discusiones y que aquí interpretaré como una metáfora posible del proceso sígnico Web. De hecho, el hipertexto será, en este sentido, una especie de enciclopedia reticular, en la cual existen innumerables saltos, incalculables «juegos sígnicos» posibilitados por el hipertexto como texto en acción. De manera que se desarrollará una aproximación interpretativa, intentando comprender la realidad sígnica de la Web a la luz de la «semiosis ilimitada». Para lo cual haré uso fundamentalmente del concepto de semiosis, del de interpretante y de la hermenéutica de Umberto Eco, en lo que a su lectura de Peirce se refiere, así como del concepto de hipertexto, acotado a su forma global en la Web, visto como una totalidad, desde sus orígenes más remotos hasta su versión más actual, para poder examinar, entonces, el comportamiento y la vida de los signos en el entorno hipertextual.

The fabric of the network of networks is formed by a complex signic mesh that forwards, in a potentially unlimited course, a sign to another sign. An operation that brings to mind the description of semiosis, as the action of the signs, of the American philosopher Charles S.
Peirce. Even from the very theoretical beginning of the concept of hypertext it is already possible to find peircean echoes that will help to understand a phenomenon as current as the Web and, especially, its original hypertextual language. A language that has generated big discussions and will be interpreted here as a possible metaphor of the signic Web process. In fact, the hypertext will be, in this respect, a kind of crosslinking encyclopedia, in which innumerable jumps incalculable “signic games” exist enabled by the hypertext as text in action.
Thus, an interpretive approximation will be developed trying to understand the signic reality of the Web in the light of "unlimited semiosis", using fundamentally the concept of semiosis, of "interpretante" and Umberto Eco's hermeneutics, in regards to his Peirce's reading, as well as the concept of hypertext, restricted to its global form on the Web, seen as a totality, from its more remote origins up to its more current version, to be able to examine, then, the behavior and the life of the signs in the hypertextual environment.
