El presente trabajo intenta aportar más datos sobre la actividad anticuaria de Benito Arias Montano (Fregenal de la Sierra, 1527 - Sevilla, 1598). Para ello, hemos recabado las noticias presentes en las obras epigráficas, manuscritas e impresas que aluden al interés de este humanista por la epigrafía romana.

The following article tries to offer more information about the antiquarian activity of Benito Arias Montano (Fregenal de la Sierra, 1527 - Sevilla, 1598). In order to obtain this information, we have gathered the records found in both manuscript and printed epigraphic books which allude to his interests on epigraphy.
