    El reconocimiento al deporte guantanamero y los logros que hoy se conciben de manera palpable en diferentes momentos de la historia, merecen un tratamiento especial en cada espacio que se presente. Su importancia conlleva a enriquecer los valores patrióticos en defensa de los principios deportivos de la Revolución Socialista. En consideración a lo planteado no basta con conocer la historia sino establecer vías para enseñarla y promover el interés en los educandos, particularmente en los jóvenes deportistas. Se les debe inculcar sentimientos como el amor a la patria, el orgullo de ser cubanos y el respeto a los héroes u otras figuras destacadas, pues de la propia historia emanan las enseñanzas, las tradiciones y los ejemplos que alientan la fortaleza e intransigencia inquebrantable de un pueblo que se erige como digno paradigma de estos tiempos. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo evidenciar como el pensamiento del Líder de la Revolución cubana Fidel Castro Ruz ha estado presente a lo largo de la historia en el desarrollo del deporte guantanamero, desde principio de la Revolución hasta la actualidad. Su pensamiento ha constituido una permanencia educativa en la formación pedagógica, cultural e histórica del movimiento deportivo guantanamero. Sus reflexiones han permitido que el deporte alcance una dimensión social acorde a los principios de nuestro socialismo. El trabajo presentado ha podido demostrar su veracidad a partir de la triangulación de diferentes métodos de la investigación histórica y educativa.

    The recognition to the sport guantanamero and the achievements that today is conceived in a palpable way in different moments of the history, they deserve a special treatment in each space that is presented. Their importance bears to enrich the patriotic values in defense of the sport principles of the Socialist Revolution. In consideration to that outlined is not enough with knowing the history but establishing roads to teach it and to promote the interest in the educandos, particularly in the young sportsmen. It should be inculcated feelings like the love to the homeland, the pride to be Cuban and the respect to the heroes or other outstanding figures, because of the own history they emanate the teachings, the traditions and the examples that encourage the strength and unyielding intransigence of a town that it is erected like I deign paradigm of these times. The present investigation has as objective to evidence as the thought of the Leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz it has been present along the history in the development of the sport guantanamero, from the beginning of the Revolution until the present time. Their thought has constituted an educational permanency in the pedagogic, cultural and historical formation of the movement sport guantanamero.

    Their reflections have allowed that the sport reaches a dimension social chord to the principles of our socialism. The presented work has been able to demonstrate its truthfulness starting from the triangulation of different methods of the historical and educational investigation.
