  En este artículo se presentan las nuevas tendencias en el uso de materiales más sostenibles en el sector del deporte. En la actualidad el reciclado de los residuos provenientes de la industria textil (pre-consumidores, post-consumidores y post-industriales) representa una oportunidad para el aprovechamiento y recuperación de materiales para la posterior fabricación de nuevos productos destinados a diferentes sectores industriales. Otra alternativa y una tendencia creciente en la industria del deporte es el desarrollo de prendas y accesorios más sostenibles fabricados a partir de polímeros provenientes de fuentes renovables y, que una vez finalizada su vida útil, puedan degradarse en condiciones de compostaje contribuyendo a un desarrollo sostenible

  This article presents the new trends in the use of more sustainable materials in the sport field. Currently, the recycling of waste coming from the textile industry (pre-consumer, post-consumer and post-industrial) represents an opportunity for the use and recovery of materials for the subsequent manufacture of new products for different industrial sectors. Another alternative and a growing trend in the sports industry is the development of more sustainable clothes and accessories made from polymers from renewable sources that once they finish their useful life, can be degraded in composting conditions contributing to a sustainable development
