Tras la revisión del problema del fundamento en la fenomenología de Heidegger que el joven Zubiri critica tempranamente en su filosofía, apunta a su radicalización con el análisis de la religación, en los años treinta del siglo pasado.
El tema del fundamento continúa en la obra madura de Zubiri, pero no alcanza estatuto noérgico sugerido desde la perspectiva de “Inteligencia sentiente” del final de su vida. La fundación permanece impensada en el tema del fundamento.

A review of the problem of the fundament in the phenomenology of Heidegger, criticized by the young Zubiri early in his philosophy, suggests its radicalization with analysis of the religation as seen in the third decade of the last century.
The issue of the fundament continues in his mature philosophy, but never reaches a noergical status suggested from the perspective of his final work “Sentient intelligence”. Foundation remains unthinkable in the issue of the fundamental.
