La poéticas tanto líricas como narrativas de la literatura chilena postdictatorial representan algunos de los objetos de estudio más interesantes y complejos desde el punto de vista político para pensar la sociedad chilena contemporánea, heredera de las transformaciones sociales y culturales de la dictadura. En general, dicha literatura ofrece resistencia al proyecto consensual, amnésico, acrítico, homogeneizador y neoliberal de la nación chilena tras el pinochetismo, permitiendo el surgimiento de nuevas formas de comunidad por vía de la articulación del espacio y la memoria.

Lyrical as well as narrative poetics of Chilean post-dictatorial literaturerepresent some of the most interesting and complex objects of study, from a political point of view, for reflecting on contemporary Chilean society, the inheritor of social and cultural transformations from the Chilean dictatorship. Generally, this literature resists the consensual, amnesiac, uncritical, homogenizing, and neo-liberal project of the Chilean nation after Pinochet, allowing new community forms to arise through articulations of space and memory.
