Resumen de Music training about the future teacher: ambits and different context in Spain

Anna Mercedes Vernia Carrasco

  • The music, in many cases remains a subject undervalued for both students as some teacher and thus has to see in his teaching, so it is necessary to disclose ways to make them work both within the school as out and also enable an active practice designed to show to teachers not only from theory, which is an important part, but also from the practice, which is the key part. Among the problems facing us for the future elementary school teacher, is the training of teaching skills to be acquired as part of the Music Education in both generalist as specialist field and the demands arising from own demands and reflections of students. Both technological advances and the evolution of society, demand a different teacher profile, adapted to the needs, requirements and demands of a society that is far from 20 years ago. Also contexts and areas of activity need specialized teachers and special according to each case, as it is not to have great artists or musicians, but rather teachers with skills social and personal, educational and pedagogical, capable of carrying out its objects and purposes to success for the implementation of its program to the powers that want to get their learners. Our proposal analyses the different skills needed by the primary school teacher in the Spanish context, checking that in different cases the students proving that feel unprepared to implement the subject of music, demanding more pedagogy and didactic preparation.
