Suplementação de cromo associado ao exercício físico: uma revisão sistemática

    Um dos suplementos dietéticos que vem ganhando maior notoriedade é o mineral cromo, que a literatura afirma como principais funções potencializar a ação da insulina com uma melhor ligação a proteína hepática glut4 captando mais glicose e reduzir o perfil lipídico inibindo a enzima hepática hidroximetilglutaril-CoA-redutase. Com isso, acaba havendo um possível resultado hipoglicemiante e hipolipemiante. Sua utilidade voltada a esportistas não se recorre somente à reposição orgânica, mas porque o cromo pode principalmente favorecer a via anabólica com um aumento da sensibilidade à insulina, que beneficia a resposta metabólica adaptativa com maior captação de aminoácidos e consequentemente a síntese proteica. Dessa forma, parece cabível uma revisão para elucidar a ação do cromo sobre indivíduos submetidos a testes e treinamentos físicos.

Thus, it seems appropriate review to elucidate the chromium action on individuals undergoing physical tests and training.
