Scopul acestui articol este acela de a prezenta ritualurile familiale asa cum sunt ele descrise in literatura de sociologia familiei, dar si in cea clinica, trecand in revista tipurile de ritualuri, functiile lor si importanta studierii lor, pentru cunosterea fenomenului familial.

The aim of this paper was to present family rituals (family celebrations, family traditions and patterned routines) as they are classified in the sociological family literature and clinical literature, too, to describe their functions and to give some guidelines for the importance of rituals studies for the family assessment, knowledge and therapy.
