    Gracias a las historias de vida de mujeres españolas refugiadas en México sabemos como fue su vida durante la Guerra Civil y su largo camino hacia el exilio.

    Por medio de archivos personales como documentos oficiales, correspondencia o fotografías se va ilustrando su testimonio. El resultado es la historia de sus vivencias durante la Guerra Civil, la estancia en los campos de con - centración franceses, su viaje a México y la adaptación al nuevo país.

    Thanks to the Spanish life stories of refugee women in Mexico, we can know how their life was du - ring the Spanish Civil War and their long journey into exile. It is through personal archives and official documents, as well as correspondence or photographs, that we could illustrate the testimony of a whole era. The result is the story of their experiences during the Spanish Civil War, their stay in the French concentration camps, their trip to Mexico and the adaptation to the new country.
