    El proyecto Interreg “E.CH.I. Etnografías ítalo-suizas por la valorización del patrimonio inmaterial” está fundado en la Convención UNESCO de 2003 para la Salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial que ha sido adoptada por Italia en el 2007 y por Suiza en 2008. En este proyecto siete socios institucionales de Italia y Suiza se han confrontado con el desafío de identificar y documentar expresiones culturales intangibles en el área de frontera entre estos dos países. Para crear un denominador metodológico común han sido organizados una serie de talleres dedicados a técnicas audio y vídeo pero también a técnicas de documentación. Adiccionalmente otro instrumento de estandarización ha sido desarrollado. Este ha sido un inventario online, en el cual todas las documentaciones producidas por los socios del proyecto han sido catalogadas. El inventario que contó con 242 documentaciones en junio 2013, que es el resultado principal del proyecto, puede ser visto online con el nombre de “Intangible Search” (“Búsqueda intangible”). Este artículo se concentra en las experiencias obtenidas con el proyecto E.CH.I., y el desarrollo de este inventario común.

    The Interreg project “E.CH.I. Italo-Swiss Ethnographies for the Valorisation of Intangible Heritage” builds on the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Heritage (2003) which has been adopted in 2007 by Italy and in 2008 by Switzerland. In this project seven partner institutions from Italy and Switzerland coped with the challenges of identifying and documenting intangible cultural expressions in the border area between these two countries. In order to create a common denominator in the methodological approach a series of workshops have been organized, which were dedicated to audio and video techniques but also to techniques of documentation. Furthermore, as another important instrument of standardization an internet-based inventory has been developed, in which all documentations produced by the project partners have been catalogued. The inventory, which counted 242 documentations in June 2013 and which is the main result of the project, can be viewed online under the name “Intangible Search”. This article focuses on the insights gathered during the project E.CH.I., and the development of such a common inventory.
