Resumen de La Interpretación del Patrimonio como estrategia para la educación y socialización del patrimonio en el medio rural

La Interpretación del Patrimonio (IP) se presenta como una estrategia de desarrollo sustentable de áreas que poseen Patrimonio Natural o Cultural. No solo es importante dar a conocer el bien patrimonial sino que también interesa la manera en que se lo haga. En los últimos años han aumentado las experiencias de trabajo relacionadas con técnicas interpretativas y la utilización turística del patrimonio de una región. Este trabajo expone los avances de una tesis doctoral, por ahora exploratoria, sobre el origen, desarrollo y actualidad de esta actividad y su vinculación con el geoturismo y la educación.

Heritage Interpretation (HI) appears as a sustainable development strategy of areas that have Natural and Cultural Heritage. Not only is it important to publicize the patrimonial good but also it an interest in the way in which one does it. In recent years have increased the experiences of work related to the use interpretive techniques and heritage tourism in a region. This paper presents the progress of a doctoral thesis, exploratory yet on the origin, development and updating of this activity and its relationship to education and geotourism.
