Resumen de ¿Austeridad laboral en los Estados Unidos?

    Frente a la austeridad laboral dominante en Europa, los Estados Unidos han encarado las repercusiones laborales de la crisis económica de 2008 con medidas de carácter expansivo, debidas al impulso del Presidente Obama. En este trabajo, se analizan la primera Ley laboral aprobada por él y la reforma sanitaria que ha logrado sacar adelante. Se analiza igualmente la conjetura, más que meramente probable, de que el Presidente Obama acabe incrementando la cuantía del salario mínimo federal en su segundo mandato.

    In front of labor austerity prevailing all over Europe, the United States have faced the labor impacts of the 2008 economic crisis with expansive measures, due to President Obama's initiative. In this work, the first employment statute signed by him, as well as his health care reform which he achieved to get ahead, are analyzed. This paper also deals with the conjecture, more than merely probable, that President Obama completes his second term in office increasing the amount of the federal minimum wage
