. This work is a contribution to informal logic about argumentative schemes and metaargumentation. It consists on an analysis out of Platos Parmenides excerpts. The work confirms three hypotheses: The text (1) displays a metaargumentative feature, (2) it presents an evidence of how some arguments develop gregarious behavior and (3) it also performs an informal solution to Third Man Argument. The work represents a novel and pioneering point of view that suggests new lines of research in the theory of argumentation as the argumentative rise present in typical philosophical discussions.
