  Al considerar los análisis que hay sobre la fotografía periodística para ser usada como fuente en la representación historiográfica, a partir de un razonamiento de la estructura interna y externa de la imagen, este artículo tiene la intención de promover un estudio respecto del uso adecuado de este tipo de fuentes. El propósito es alentar y sensibilizar a los historiadores e investigadores de las Ciencias Sociales para que tengan la disposición de recurrir a las imágenes como fuente para su trabajo.

  When considering the analysis that is on photojournalism for use as source historiographical representation from a reasoning of the internal and external structure of the image, this article intends to promote a study on the appropriate use of such sources. The purpose is to encourage and sensitize historians and researchers in the social sciences to have the willingness to use the images as a source for their work.
