La erupción acneiforme es el efecto secundario cutáneo más frecuente de cetuximab. Presentamos un paciente que desarrolló una erupción acneiforme secundaria a dicho fármaco que respetaba el área de piel previamente irradiada. Varios autores sugieren que la gravedad de la erupción acneiforme está relacionada con la eficacia del tratamiento, por lo que habría que plantearse si ante la presencia de una erupción acneiforme que respeta el área de piel previamente irradiada, al corresponder ésta con el área del tumor el beneficio obtenido sería menor.

The acneiform eruption is the most frecuent cutaneous adverse effect of cetuximab. We present a patient who developed an acneiform rash secundary to this drug that spared the previously irradiated skin. As is suggesting for some authors the severity of the acneiform eruption is related to the efficacy of the treatment, but it should be taken into account if the sparing skin toxicity in the area of the tumor could be in parallel or not to the antitumor therapeutic response
