Resumen de The benefits of preoperative nursing visits for surgical patients

  This study aims to identify the benefits of preoperative evaluation of nursing for the customer who will undergo surgery. This is an exploratory research with a qualitative approach, literature, accomplished through a systematic review of the Virtual Health Library (VHL) in the databases LILACS and BDENF, where 11 were selected bibliographies potential after pre-reading and selective reading, there was still reading and interpretative thematic analysis. Results: Two categories emerged, the benefits seen preoperative nursing care and preoperative nursing the surgical patient. We conclude that the preoperative visit is important and involves the mutual influences and the process of communication and trust between nurse and patient, and help in adapting the surgery patients to the hospital environment, easing their fears and anxieties by making the same accepted best and face the problem, providing a smooth surgery and a good recovery.

  Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar os benefícios da visita pré-operatória de enfermagem para o cliente que se submeterá à cirurgia. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, com abordagem qualitativa, bibliográfica, realizada através de uma revisão sistemática na Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), nas bases de dados do LILACS e BDENF, onde foram selecionadas 11 bibliografias potenciais, após a pré-leitura e leitura seletiva, realizou-se ainda a leitura interpretativa e a análise temática. Resultados: emergiram duas categorias, benefícios da visita pré-operatoria de enfermagem, e cuidados pré-operatórios de enfermagem ao paciente cirúrgico. Conclui-se que a visita pré-operatória é relevante e envolve a influencia mútua e o processo de comunicação e confiança entre o enfermeiro e o paciente, além de ajudar na adaptação do cliente cirúrgico ao ambiente hospitalar, amenizando seus medos e ansiedades fazendo com que o mesmo aceite melhor e enfrente o problema, proporcionando uma cirurgia tranqüila e uma boa recuperação.
