    El trabajo se pregunta sobre las opciones existentes dentro del ámbito educativo-cultural, para hacer frente a las nuevas prácticas que la revolución tecnológica contemporánea representa debido a las modernas formas de comunicación. Se avanza en una propuesta que, tomando en cuenta las características económicas, políticas, sociales y culturales de las naciones latinoamericanas, permita la imbricación de la forma cultural tradicional encamada en la lectura, con la utilización de los nuevos sistemas, pero siempre teniendo presente que los discursos ahí expresados son productos históricos.

    The work inquires about the existing options within the cultural-education field, to face the new practices that the contemporaneous technological revolution represents in the modem forms of communication. It is set forth in a proposal that, taking into account the economic, political, social, and cultural characteristics of Latin American nations, allows the joining together of the traditional cultural form embodied in the reading, with the utilization of the new Systems, but always keeping in mind that the discourses expressed by them are historical products.
