  • It was evaluated the technical-economical impact of a nutritional strategy and applied on livestock dual purpose on farm located at the Guárico State. 125 mature cows weighting 363 ± 40 kg, 371 ± 37 kg and 374 ± 40 for T1, T2, T3, respectively, were used in order to evaluate differents supplement rations under the strategic plan on dry -rainy season, using local resources during 120 days. All postpartum cows were grazing Panicum maximum, sorgum crop residues, forest tree and grass, and native grass in the dry and rainy season, respectively. The economic evaluation evidenced that under the current management conditions of the system, the model reported losses on the farm in order of Bs 790 for cow unit herd (UVR). Postpartum interval (IP) improved in 263.85, 284 and 218.67 d and the production/cow/d improved in 0.11, 0.03 and 0.29 L, the suplementation cost was Bs 504, 1 563.6 and 1 656 and the profits (Bs/UVR) were 16 544.9; 15 476.9; 15 342.7 and the milk cost were 68.06, 70.78 and 71.09 Bs/L for T1, T2 and T3, respectively. The greater economic impact was obtained with the T1 tratamient applied minerals mixes + molasses cane bagasse with urea.
