    La atención al enfermo mental se basa en un modelo sociosanitario en el que las familias son el elemento rehabilitador por excelencia. Por ello es de vital importancia la atención a cuidadores y familias.

    Los primeros estudios específicos en tratamiento domiciliario de pacientes psicóticos parecen confirmar la importancia del apoyo familiar. Debemos por ello ser capaces de integrarlas en nuestro proyecto terapéutico a la vez que les ayudamos a disminuir su carga.

    Es preciso, por tanto, utilizar los recursos sanitarios actuales más adecuados en el mejor lugar posible, es decir, su domicilio.

    The attention to the mental patient is based on a social sanitary model in which the families are the rehabilitator element par excellence. For that reason it is of vital importance the attention to caretakers and families. The first specific studies in domiciliary treatment of psychotic’s patients seem to confirm the importance of the familiar support. We must for that reason be able simultaneously to integrate them in our therapeutic project that we helped them to diminish its load. It is precise, therefore, to use suitable the present sanitary resources more in the best possible place, that is to say, its address
