  • Hydrology, or water therapy, can be divided in hydrotherapy, crenotherapy and thalasotherapy. Water can be used internally (drinking cure) or, most frequently, externally. lt has chemical , mechanical and thermal actions over the organic physiology. Among the chemical actions, we can enhance the action of mineral water with essential oils, so called hydroaromatherapy. Essentials like lavender, bitter orange, arnica, camphor, pine, thym, etc. are among the most used. Marine algae are among the most interesting complements in thermal therapy of obesity.
