  • Resumen
    • TCM , and more specifically acupuncture, are recognized methods in treating the consequences of cancer and its therapy. There are many bibliographic references validating this utility. In the oriental vision of pathology, cancer is considered as a "hot humidity", participating of both Yin and Yang energies. The therapy, by this reason , is complex. There are scientific evidences that atupuncture is useful in the treatment of leucopenia, gastritis, enhancing the defense process and also resolving the psychologic problems. Secondary effects can be managed, almost partially, by acupuncture, and there are references about its efectivity in nausea, vomiting, pain, dyspnea and as a palliative cure in the terminal patient.
