En los carmina epigráficos amatorios puede percibirse, tanto en los motivos como en el tono y el estilo, la cercanía de la poesía pre-neotérica, que introdujo en Roma el gusto por el lusus poético del epigrama helenístico. En este trabajo ofrecemos ejemplos de tal relación en el uso de la metáfora de la flamma amoris en algunos de los grafitos pompeyanos.

In the amatory epigraphic carmina, it can be noticed -not only in the themes but also in the tone and style- the proximity of the pre-neoteric poetry, which introduced in Rome the taste for the poetic lusus of the Hellenistic epigram. In this work, we present examples of this connection in the use of the flamma amoris metaphor in some of the Pompeian graffiti.
