  EL DR. L.A. PÉREZ MILLÁN, EL INSTITUTO DE BIOMECÁNICA DE VALENCIA (IBV) Y LA empresa valenciana Lafitt, S.A. han desarrollado un nuevo implante que permite la corrección de la escoliosis por traslación segmentaria (TRANSPINE®) mediante el uso de pinzas laminares y cables. El sistema ha mostrado un buen comportamiento biomecánico y clínico, simplificando la técnica quirúrgica y disminuyendo el riesgo neurológico durante la intervención.

  The Dr. L.A. Perez Millán, the Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia (IBV) and Lafitt, S.A. have developed a new implant (TRANSPINE®), the system allows the spine deformities correction for segmental translation by means of laminar tweezers and cables.

  The system has showed a good biomechanical and clinical behavior, simplifying the surgical technique and decreasing the neurological risk during the intervention.
