    Tradicionalmente ha sido muy poca la relación entre la investigación histórica y la historia que se enseña en las aulas. Esta disociación se debe, principalmente, a que la historia enseñada es, sobre todo, una historia centrada en las narrativas nacionales, mientras que los objetos de investigación son mucho más diversos. Sin embargo, se puede conectar perfectamente la "alta investigación" en historia con la enseñanza de esta materia y su divulgación al conjunto de la sociedad. Buen ejemplo de ello es el Seminario "Familia y Élite de Poder" de la Universidad de Murcia, un grupo de investigación de historia moderna que siempre se ha interesado por la divulgación científica y la enseñanza de la historia.

    It is a well known fact that there is still almost relationship between research in history and teaching history, a situation that is repeated from the beginning of history as a social science. Among the reasons for this dissociation is the fact that the history taught is primarily a history centered in national narratives, while objects of research are much more diverse. However, you can connect perfectly the "high research" in history with the teaching of the subject and its popularization throughout society. In this sense the seminar "Family and Power Elite" of the University of Murcia can be a good example. In this paper we present a brief account of the activities undertaken by members of this research group related to popular science and history teaching
