Este trabajo aborda la Ley de Libertad Religiosa en Portugal del año 2001. Se trata de una Ley muy completa que consta de 69 artículos y que desarrolla el modelo constitucional, sus principios constitucionales y los modelos de relación entre el Estado portugués y las diferentes confesiones religiosas. Contiene los derechos individuales y colectivos derivados de este derecho fundamental, el estatuto jurídico de las confesiones religiosas, el Registro de Personas Colectivas Religiosas, la Comisión de libertad religiosa, los acuerdos de colaboración y el estatuto de la Iglesia Católica.

This work deals the Law on Religious Freedom in Portugal 2001. This is a highly comprehensive law that consists of 69 articles, which develops the constitutional model, its constitutional principles and models of relationship between the Portuguese State and the different confessions. Contains the individual and collective rights derived from this fundamental right, the legal status of religious faiths, the registration of Religious Collective Persons, the Commission of religious freedom, the agreements of collaboration and the status of the Catholic Church.
