Abstract
In this paper we review the so-called «gender social psychology» in three
different ways. So, first, we make a brief survey of women' contributions to the
construction of this area of knowledge in order to make visible some works
that are not always known. Secondly, we make a brief analysis of the transition
from traditional psychology toward a new (social) psychology of gender.
And finally, we present the analysis of the state of the question in our country
which provides the opportunity to think about the future that we face today.
