Referirnos a distintas manifestaciones artísticas puede conducirnos a posibles confusiones y equívocos. En lo que se refiere a las nuevas manifestaciones podemos hacer algunas relaciones con lo que respecta a la pintura abstracta. Las posibles confusiones pueden deberse a las nuevas y diversas expresiones artísticas que de alguna manera no forman unidades fáciles de reconocer. Ahora en nuestros días corresponde la complejidad de manifestaciones dentro de las artes visuales más tradicionales como la pintura, escultura, fotografía, el arte minimalista, y otras más como el video, los juegos para computadoras, la telefonía, cámaras de seguridad, nuevas representaciones del Arte Lumínico, el tatuaje y body art, el arte de la desfiguración, las nuevas Instalaciones, el performance, happenings, el arte digital, el cinc, cortometrajes, videoarte, la nueva pintura abstracta lírica y geométrica, etc. El presente ensayo pretende esclarecer las relaciones entre las artes digitales con la pintura abstracta.

To refer to different artistic manifestations can lead us to possible confusions and puns. Regarding the new manifestations we can do some relations with what it concerns to the abstract painting. The possible confusions can owe to the new and diverse artistic expressions that somehow do not form units easy to recognize. Now nowadays the complexity of manifestations corresponds inside the most traditional visual arts as the painting, sculpture, photography, the minimalist art, and others as the video, the games for computers, the telephony, safety chambers, new representations of the Light Art, the tattoo and body art, the art of the disfigurement, the new instalations, the performance, happenings, the digital art, the cinema, shortfilms, artvideo, the new abstract lyric and geometric painting, etc. The present test tries to clarify the relations between the digital arts with the abstract painting.
