La ENU como representación de la lucha político-ideológica durante la Unidad Popular

    El artículo busca presentar a la Escuela Nacional Unificada (ENU), la propuesta de reforma educacional del gobierno de la Unidad Popular, como una síntesis de discursos político-educativos con diversas expresiones a lo largo del siglo XX chileno. En este sentido, la ENU sería una articulación de discursos, no una propuesta netamente marxista y con objetivos �totalitarios�, como la intentó presentar la oposición a la UP durante los primeros meses de 1973. Desde nuestra perspectiva, tal postura es explicable por la interpretación en clave ideológica que la oposición intentó darle a la ENU, convirtiéndola en una excusa más para legitimar el derrocamiento del gobierno de Salvador Allende.

    This article seeks to present the National Unified School, educational reform proposal of the Popular Unity government, as a synthesis of political-educational discourses with different expressions throughout the twentieth century in Chile. In this sense, the ENU would be an articulation of discourses, not a merely a Marxist proposal with "totalitarian" objectives, as the opposition to the UP tried to present in the first months of 1973. From our perspective, that position can be explained through the interpretation in ideological key that the opposition tried to give to the ENU, turning it into another excuse to legitimate the overthrow of Salvador Allende�s government.
