La historia del cine español recoge numerosos films sobre la Guerra Civil española. El presente artículo pretende realizar un recorrido por esta filmografía para, finalmente, analizar el último film sobre esta temática, estrenado en 2011: There Be Dragons (Encontrarás dragones), de Roland Joffé. Se analizarán una serie de características propias de este largometraje como la fusión de géneros y la oposición ideológica como eje central y, finalmente se detallará el márketing llevado a cabo en la red y su presencia en las redes sociales, hoy en auge como medio publicitario
