  Los proyectos de Arte Público recurren a representaciones y modelos usados y desarrollados por la arquitectura y por las ciencias sociales, conformando un paradigma manifiestamente inadecuado al trabajo artístico. Éste, por su parte, tiende sobre todo a elaborar una relación entre una resistencia de ciudadanía y las pre-suposiciónes de la autoría para configurar, por vía de su intervención, una comunidad otra que necesita, para existir, de una cartografía en construcción, más adecuada al trabajo artístico. El artista plástico que actúa sobre el espacio público es simultáneamente objeto y sujeto de esa operación.

  Trabajando las representaciones de esa comunidad, reinventa también la representación de sí mismo.

  The assignments connected with Public Art�s recur to well known models of representation, already employed and developed within the architectural practice and the cultural studies that encircle a paradigm that�s clearly inadequate to Art processes. In its turn, the Art Work aims to put up a relation between a citizenship�s resistance and the motifs of authorship, in order to conceive - with the Art Work and its procedures - an Other-Community that needs, in order to exist, some kind of cartography-in-progress, much more tolerable by the artistic work. The Fine Arts artist, while acting on public environment is, at the same time, the object and the subject of that operation. Working on the representations of that specific community he also reinvents his own images
