    El teatro se distingue por su forma de representación inmediata, instantánea y efímera. Sin embargo, la tecnología actual ha renovado algunos sistemas de códigos presentes en la escenificación, especialmente los relacionados con el espacio teatral. Mediatizaciones como la trasmisión de segmentos videograbados o la proyección de imágenes digitales modifican la experiencia teatral y la aproximan a la complejidad sígnica de otros espectáculos. El presente trabajo incluye una descripción de las mediatizaciones utilizadas en el montaje teatral colombiano �El deber de Fenster� (Bogotá, 2010) para precisar sus efectos dramáticos y valorar su aportación a la tradicional escenificación teatral.

    Theater is characterized by its immediate, instantaneous and ephemeral representation. However, the current technology has updated some code systems found in the staging, especially those concerned with the theater space. Mediatizations such as broadcasting of video recorded segments or showing digital images modify the theater experience and get it closer to the significant complexity of other shows.

    This work includes a description of the mediatizations used in the staging of �Fenster´s duty� (Bogota, 2010) in order to pinpoint its dramatic effects and appreciate its contribution to the traditional staging.
