Resumen de Crítica a la "Ontología del Presente" en Benjamin y Althusser

En este artículo nos proponemos reflexionar acerca de la noción de tiempo histórico �y, específicamente, de la noción de presente- que aparece en las obras de Walter Benjamin y de Louis Althusser, quienes divisaron la necesidad de cuestionar la noción dominante de historia y desarrollar una noción materialista del tiempo histórico. Indagaremos la crítica a la ontología del presente que llevan a cabo ambos autores así como las potencialidades de la noción de historia y de presente histórico que desarrollan para pensar el accionar político.

In this article we intend to reflect on the notion of historical time and, specifically, the notion of present, which appears in the work of Walter Benjamin and Louis Althusser, who spotted the need to challenge the dominant notion of history and develop a materialist notion of historical time. We will investigate the criticism of the ontology of present that take place both authors and the potential of the concept of history and present that they develop to think about political action.
