Resumen de ¿Fuera o dentro del juego? La actual narrativa venezolana en el contexto literario hispanoamericano

Nos preguntamos qué sucede con la narrativa venezolana dentro de la actual literatura hispanoamericana. Nuestros narradores no forman parte del catálogo de las grandes editoriales, ni sus libros son aplaudidos por la crítica. El objetivo de esta ponencia es analizar algunos factores que den ciertas claves para reflexionar sobre esta interrogante.
Al respecto, utilizaré propuestas de teóricos como Roland Barthes, Julia Kristeva y Tzvetan Todorov para comprender el proceso escritural en sí mismo;
y sus acercamientos a la compleja relación entre narrativa y crítica venezolanas, apuntados por Carlos Sandoval, Judith Gerendas y Juan Carlos Chirinos.
En este ensayo se consigue un registro de elementos como la carencia de una escritura rigurosa por parte de los narradores y de una crítica capaz de arriesgarse en el análisis de los textos de nuevos autores �y la que escasamente existe, sólo está en función de la alabanza o de volver su mirada hacia escritores ya consagrados�. Además, la falta de mecanismos de promoción y distribución de la narrativa nacional. En conjunto, estos factores han condenado a esta última al margen de los circuitos editoriales; a estar fuera del juego.

We asked our selves about the venezuelan fiction writing position in the present Hispano-American literary context. Why our fiction writers are not considered fairly enough to be included on the book�s catalogues offered by the mainpublishing firm and neither are their books accepted and recognized by literary critics? The main goal of this paper is to study some facts in order to attain valuable clues to answer this question.
I will use some ideas given by literary theoreticians like Roland Barthes, Julia Kristeva and Tzevan Teodorov to understand the writing process itself and to approach to the complex relationship between fiction writing and Venezuelan criticism pointed by Carlos Sandoval, Judith Gerendas and Juan Carlos Chirinos.
Reading the essay, we have found a related data as well as a lack of interest for an accurate and careful writing process by our fiction writers plus a shy criticism unable to take a risk analyzing the new author�s literary work. Besides, we found a wanting of suitable promotion and appropriate distribution of national literature in the publishing world and market. At this point, these facts have condemned the venezuelan literature to the margins of editorial circles and to be, unfortunately, out of the game.
