La humanidad siempre ha buscado formas más rápidas, pero también más eficientes de comunicarse-conectarse a distancia. Primero surgieron los conductos alámbricos para la transmisión-recepción de contenidos, pero hoy en esa constante búsqueda surgen los conductos inalámbricos caracterizados por las ondas radioeléctricas en las que se divide el espectro electromagnético. Junto a esto han irrumpido los satélites artificiales que han complejizado más el mundo de las telecomunicaciones, pero las bondades que ellos nos ofrecen en diversos ámbitos de la vida superan las dificultades. El estudio no sólo nos ofrece el origen y uso de los satélites artificiales en las comunicaciones, sino que nos lleva al régimen jurídico internacional y nacional que rige esta forma de comunicación.

Human beings have always looked up for faster but also more efficient ways to communicate-connect in the distance. Wire lines came up first, and were used to send-receive material, but these days the maintained search has brought wireless lines characterized by the radio electric waves, that put together the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Also artificial satellites have been created and as a result they have made the telecommunications world more complex, but at the same time offered us benefits to help on many life's confines and to overcome difficulties. This study not only explains to us the origin and use of artificial satellites in communications, but also includes the international and national juridical regime to manage this way of communication.
