Resumen de La renovació educativa a "El Magisterio Balear" en temps de la Segona República

En este artículo se pretende hacer un análisis de la revista El Magisterio Balear durante los años en que duró la Segunda República española. Esta revista inició su publicación en 1873 y excepto algún período en que no se publicó, su vida duró hasta diciembre de 1936, iniciada ya la Guerra Civil. Fundamentalmente se estudian los artículos pedagógicos, así como otras noticias y secciones, destacando los trabajos que desarrollan las experiencias de la Escuela Nueva, fundamentalmente Decroly, Montessori, Freinet, etc. Además, la revista se convierte en portavoz de los cambios escolares que propician las nuevas leyes republicanas para así informar a los maestros de las Baleares. Es también interesante abordar el cambio que sufre la revista en los pocos números que publicó cuando las autoridades fascistas estaban en el poder.

In this article an analysis is made of the magazine El Magisterio Balear during the years in which the Second Spanish Republic existed. This magazine was first published in 1873 and except for some period in which it was not published, it lasted until December 1936, when the Civil War had already started. What is mainly studied are the pedagogical articles as well as other news and sections, with an emphasis on the works that develop the experiences of the New School, mainly Decroly, Montessori, Freinet, etc. In addition, the magazine has become the spokesman for the scholastic changes that have been brought about by the new republican laws so as to inform the teachers of the Balearics. It is also interesting to deal with the change that the magazine undergoes in the few issues that were published when the fascist authorities were in power.
