Resumen de La mujer en el sector agrario de la región de Murcia, España

  El tan deseado desarrollo rural se hace imposible sin la presencia de mujeres, sobre todo jóvenes. En primer lugar, para atajar los fuertes procesos de masculinización de la juventud, y en segundo, para dotar de nueva energía demográfica a una sociedad rural fuertemente envejecida. Si no se da un equilibrio entre ambos sexos es imposible que haya agricultores y sociedad rural. Sin embargo, la mujer sigue siendo discriminada y lidera la temporalidad en el trabajo agrario.

  En un intento de paliar diferencias entre ambos géneros, el gobierno murciano apuesta por una serie de políticas encaminadas a lograr la tan deseada, por parte de todos, igualdad entre mujeres y hombres. Entre las distintas actuaciones que favorecen a la mujer que trabaja en el sector agrario, destaca la ampliación de los mecanismos de conocimiento de las mujeres rurales, a través de la realización de estudios, organización de jornadas formativas y elaboración de metodologías específicas.

  Such a wished rural development becomes impossible without (the) women's presence, especially young women. Firstly, to catch the strong processes of masculinizing of the youth, and in second, to provide a rural strongly aged society with new demographic energy. If one does not give a balance between both sexes it is impossible that there are farmers and rural society. Nevertheless, (the) woman continues being discriminated and leads (the) temporality in the agrarian work.

  In an attempt of relieving differences between both genres, the government of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia (Spain) bets for a series of policies directed to achieving so wished, on the part of all, equality between women and men. Among the different actions in favour of women who are employed at the agrarian sector, it stands out the extension of the mechanisms of knowledge of the rural women, across the accomplishment of studies, organization of formative days and elaboration of specific methodologies.
