The author studies the iconography of the reverses of the coins of the city of Ikalesken that author reads as Ikalkum-sken. The place name is related to celtish Ic(c)a mare. In these reverses a rider brings another horse by the bridle. It is studying if this picture can be relationed with the Dioscuris myth, but this thought is finally rejected. It would be prefirable to think that it is referred to an indoeuropean ritual of horses sacrifice, associated to life beyond the grave and kingdom.
