    Se analiza y comenta en este artículo un manuscrito, hasta ahora desconocido, firmado por el helenista José Gómez Hermosilla, en el que informa sobre el proyecto de reglamento de Escuelas de Latinidad y Colegios de Humanidades, redactado por él y que acompaña al informe. Ambos documentos van dirigidos al obispo electo de Málaga, secretario de la comisión nombrada por Fernando VII para el arreglo de la enseñanza. Se destacan en este trabajo la personalidad del autor y sus criterios sobre la educación de las clases acomodadas en el contexto de una sociedad estamental y absolutista

    This work analyses and comments the text of a manuscript, until now unknown, signed by the hellenist José Gómez Hermosilla, who gives information about a projet of regulations for the Schools of Latinity and the Colleges of Humanities drafted by himself and going with the report. Both documents are addressed to the elected bishop of Malaga, who was secretary of the Board appointed by the king Fernando VII and given the task of improving the teaching in the country. It is emphasized in this work the personality of José Gómez Hermosilla and his viewpoints about the education of the upper-middle classes in the context of an absolutist society.
