Resumen de Ética y universidad: reflexiones fenomenológicas para una filosofía de los valores en la universidad.

  La crisis que sufre la universidad venezolana es de carácter ético. No es casual que en las Jornadas para el Cambio Universitario, en la Universidad de los Andes (2001), se incorporó una mesa para analizar el problema de la ética, la docencia y la investigación en la universidad, apostándose por una reflexión ética de carácter estructural. En el ánimo de repensar la relación ética-universidad confrontamos de la mano del método fenomenológico, dos ejes temáticos apuntalados desde el punto de vista epistemológico en la tradición de la pedagogía crítica: 1. Ética, Universidad y Currículo;

  2. Los Valores, la Universidad y la Gerencia. Se trata no solamente de una disquisición teorética sino de develar las telarañas que adormecen la conciencia crítica, la postura fundante y la Razón desmitificadora, que deben acompañar al docente universitario. En momentos en que la Universidad está siendo amenazada por ser desplazada del aula al acontecimiento impera sincerar su desideratum, y apostar por una Universidad para el cambio con sentido.

  ETHIC AND UNIVERSITY The crisis that affects the Venezuelan university is the ethical character. It is not by chance that in the Symposium for the University Change, hold in the University of the Andes (2001), was incorporated into the discussion problems about ethic, teaching and research in the university. This meeting bets for an ethical reflection of structural character. In order to rethink the relation ethic-University we confronted of the hand of the phenomenological method, two thematic points from the epistomologic point of view in the tradition of critical pedagogic: 1. Ethic, University and Curriculum; 2. The Values, the University, and the management. It is not only a theoretical treatise to reveal the spidewebs that induce sleep the critical conscience, the endowed position and the demystifying Reason, that must accompany the university teachers. At moments when the university is being threatened and displaced from the classroom to the event prevails to sincere its desideratum, and bet by a University change with sense
