Resumen
- Treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcer suffered an important change when was confirmed that Helicobacter pylori causes 100% and 80% of these diseases, respectively. At first, treatment was based in stop the pain, it was a symptomatic treatment, but today it is well known that these are infection diseases and it is necessary the co-employment of an antisecretor agent and antibiotics. Present review describes and summarizes the changes experimented in the last years in the treatment of these diseases, chronic until today.
