  Se propone una metodología para preparar colecciones de arenas que contribuyen a la formación geológica de estudiantes y docentes en niveles de enseñanza universitarios y no universitarios. La colección consta de dos tipos de muestras: unas con partículas seleccionadas donde se estudian uno a uno los caracteres texturales de los granos y otras en las que se estudian parámetros que afectan a sedimentos completos.

  A methodology is proposed to prepare collections of sand that will contribute to the geological training of both students and teachers at university as well as non - university level. The collection will contain two types of samples: some with selected particles where the textural characteristics of the grains can be studied one by one and others wich allow the study of the general parameters that affect the sediment as a whole.
