Resumen de La edición de textos dramáticos jesuíticos: peculiaridades y problemas

El investigador que se adentra en la ardua tarea de la edición de textos dramáticos jesuíticos suele encontrarse con una serie de dificultades que obstaculizan su labor. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar tales dificultades. Para ello, después de una introducción somera al teatro de los jesuitas y a la singularidad de sus obras, se examinan los múltiples problemas que ofrecen los textos, desde su estado de conservación a las diversas formas de manipulación.

In preparing critical editions of Jesuit drama texts the researcher is frequently confronted with a series of difficulties. The purpose of the present paper is to elucidate and analyse these potential problems. Thus, after offering a brief summary of Jesuit theatre and the peculiarities of these works, the author discusses the numerous problematic issues inherent in these texts, running from their state of conservation to the different ways in which they have been manipulated.
