Resumen de La cronología del tránsito Magdaleniense / Aziliense en la región cantábrica

El final del Paleolítico coincide con un cambio climático importante, el final del Pleistoceno y de la era cuaternaria y el comienzo del Holoceno. En la región cantábrica ese momento está marcado por el tránsito entre dos culturas que presentan al mismo tiempo continuidad y gran diferencia. El proceso de microlitización que comienza en el Magdaleniense tiene su punto álgido durante los primeros momentos del Epipaleolítico, en concreto durante el Aziliense. Resumiendo la información disponible, en este artículo se trata de asignar una cronología al momento del cambio entre ambos mundos, el Magdaleniense y el Aziliense, en el norte de la Península Ibérica Ibérica.

The end of the Palaeolithic coincides with an important climatic change: the end of the Pleistocene and the Quaternary, which give way to the Holocene. This moment is marked in the Cantabrian region of Spain by the transition between two cultures. This transition is not abrupt, but the cultures are very different. The process of increasing abundance of microliths, which starts in the Magdalenian, has its best expression during the first phases of the Epipaleolithic, more specifically during the Azilian. In this paper, we present a chronology for the moment of change from one world to the other, from the Magdalenian to the Azilian, in the northern Iberian Peninsula.
